Breathe deep and chill out with this beautiful, relaxing, tender love song. My cover of the Beatles' And I Love Her.

LYRICS

I give her all my love
That's all I do
And if you saw my love
You'd love her too
I love her

She gives me everything
And tenderly
The kiss my lover brings
She brings to me
And I love her

A love like ours
Could never die
As long as I
Have you near me

Bright are the stars that shine
Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine
Will never die
And I love her

[INSTRUMENTAL]

Bright are the stars that shine
Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine
Will never die
And I love her

ADDITIONAL NOTES

My special thanks to Ryohei Kanayama, who has created exceptionally authentic instrumental arrangements for all of the Beatles' songs.

While And I Love Her is, at its core, a simple, short, sweet song, it has many innovative elements that make it interesting musically. From Paul McCartney's beautiful melody and chord sequence (the backbone of the song); to George Harrison's 4-note guitar riff that opens and closes the song; to the "middle eight" section that nicely complements the verse; to the Latin-influenced arrangement (bongos, claves — i.e., wooden blocks, and Spanish-style guitar arpeggios); to George Martin's musically satisfying key change; to the chord that ends the song, which has been alternating between a major key (F major) and a minor key (D minor), and finally resolves it in a major final chord (F major). That final chord (being major rather than minor) is what is known as a Picardy Third, a musical "happy ending" whose use in traditional music dates back to the Renaissance.
